Neutron star scalarization with Gauss-Bonnet and Ricci scalar couplings

چکیده
Spontaneous scalarization of neutron stars has been extensively studied in the Damour and Esposito-Far\`ese model, which a scalar field couples to Ricci or, equivalently, trace energy-momentum tensor. However, both black holes may also be triggered by coupling Gauss-Bonnet invariant. The case received lot attention lately, but synergy couplings overlooked for stars. Here, we show that combining interesting effects on properties scalarized stars, such as affecting their domain existence or amount charge they carry.
